Instructions to download the free Harry Potter invitations

To download and print your Harry Potter party invitation, click here and download the slide from our Google Drive.

What to do once you’ve downloaded the file

Open the file – it will open as a Powerpoint presentation.

Add your party details, change the fonts, whatever you need to do. The font we have used is standard Times New Roman, so you should have it on your computer. If you don’t highlight the text and change the font to suit you.

All the other ‘fonts’ are actually embedded pictures, so they should turn out just fine for you. You can delete any of the images you like in the Powerpoint.

In case you are wondering, the font we used to create the “Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry” logo is Lumos. You can download Lumos for free at dafont. It’s a good font to use for lots of Harry Potter party planning.

Ideas for sending the Harry Potter invitation out

We suggest you print out these invites and send them via snail mail in a kraft envelope with a Hedgwig cut out pasted on the back. There’s a cute Hedgwig picture here. It’s from the original Harry Potter movie poster, so please be aware of copyright and only use it for personal use.

You can also save the Powerpoint as an image file and send it via email. To do this, simply ‘Save as’, then select ‘jpg’ or ‘png’ from the ‘Save as type’ drop down. You can attach a jpg or png file to your email as an image attachment.

This looks amazing! I've just downloaded and I'm wondering if someone has saved over your version in the google drive? It doesn't look the same as your photo on the web page?

Hi there! I just requested access to edit the invitation if possible it wouldn't let me edit it. Would love to use it for my friends bday!

Hi There,

This looks perfect for the party we are planning for our daughter’s 9th birthday! Thank you for creating it and so generously sharing. I can’t get the download as the link goes to a page that no longer exists. Any advice help please? Typical when I am already to print!

Kindest regards Joanne
